I just got the most fabulous new doll armoire for my American Girls. It's all oak, looks terrific with my furniture, stands about 30" tall with doors, drawers, shelves, and plenty of space to hang dresses. I'm photo-challenged, but you can see it on the http://www.easywoodprojects.com website under "doll armoire". It was $175 shipped, finished in oak, but you can buy it in poplar and in different stains, or as a kit. I highly recommend it- I got tired of diving into the bottomless Rubbermaid pit all the time. Husband just shakes his head- nothing's too good for the "girls"! Holly in PA

Wow, that looks fabulous with real wood. A bit pricey for me. I can not afford that, but I made my own "armoire" using closetmaid kit from Lowe's. Total costed me $65. It functions very well, not as pretty though. Here is the link to the pictures:

Congrats on your purchase Holly. I loved all the furniture on that site.
June, what a great idea to use the closetmaid items. I might be looking into that myself to supplement my plastic drawer situation.

Holly, your armoire is very pretty. Congratulations on your new purchase.
June, I like your storage solution, also. It looks like it holds a lot.
